Urgent: An illness and/or injury that requires same-day evaluation and possible Emergency Department treatment.
Non-urgent: Chronic constipation, ADHD, etc.
It’s best to call early in the morning if your child is sick and requires urgent attention. Calling ahead will help to minimize the amount of time that an uncomfortable child spends waiting. When scheduling your appointment, please let us know all concerns that you would like addressed so we may schedule the appropriate amount of time.
If you have more than one sick child, please schedule both of them when you make your appointment. An appointment ensures that sick siblings will be seen as soon as possible; without one, you may be asked to wait until the doctor has finished seeing patients who have booked a place in the schedule.
We make every effort to schedule same-day appointments for sick children with your preferred pediatrician. If we are unable to see your child immediately, we will refer you to the appropriate facility.
